In February 2014, FirePower Technology acquired the former power supply division of OCZ Technology Group, Inc., allowing the company to launch into the growing high-end computer gaming and industrial workstation markets. As the producer of the award-winning PC Power and Cooling® power supplies, including Turbo Cool® and Silencer® MK III, as well as the ZX, ZT, ModXSteam, and Fatal1ty® brands all formerly sold by OCZ, FirePower Technology is now ambitiously expanding its sales channels through growing alliances with familiar retail, distributor and web commerce outlets.
